Learning Style Survey

The results from the Learning Style Survey said that my learning style is Bodily-Kinesthetic. I agree. I learn best when I am up and moving. Sitting in a desk, listening to a teacher lecture doesn't do anything for me. I remember some things, but most goes in one ear and out the other. By actually doing something I remember what I learned.

Tips and Tricks

I wish I knew a lot of tips and tricks, but I only know a few. Here they are:

- A quick way to copy a picture is by using the Print Screen button on the keyboard. Once you press it, open a blank Paint document and paste. You can crop and add to the image.

- When clicking on a link, you can open it in a new tab by right clicking the link and then click "Open Link in New Tab." This saves you from losing the page you are currently on.

- When using search engines, like Google, using Boolean Operators help limit your search. This helps you to get the information that you are looking for. The Boolean Operators are: and, or, & not.

Reflective Post for March 17

I want to teach differently than ways that I was taught in school. I want to integrate computers and technology in my classroom. I feel that I do not know very much about computers, mainly because I was never taught. I want my students to feel comfortable with computers and technology. Also, I want to do a lot of hands on projects. I think that sitting at a desk while doing book work is boring. Also, students do not get much out of it. I want to be different, and get my students moving and involved.
